How do I become a MAVO (Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator)?
Simply apply.
You don’t need any prior experience in the medical field to become a MAVO. The only requirements are having a clean driving record and maintaining a driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Unlike the EMT Certification or the AVO Certification, MAVO training is done on-site at the On Time office nearest to you. The training consists of 8 hours of in-person experience and it is 100% free. Our schedule is flexible and we can accommodate based on your availability.
